Pakistani actress Sarwat Gilani has shared detailed views on parenting and the responsibilities of mothers and fathers, stressing the importance of mutual understanding and support in raising children.<\/p>\n
Speaking during a recent morning show appearance, the actress said mothers often appear strict with their children because they spend the entire day managing their education, meals, homework, discipline and overall care.<\/p>\n
She said that when a mother spends the whole day teaching children, feeding them, guiding them and dealing with their resistance, it is natural for her patience to wear thin by the end of the day.<\/p>\n
According to Sarwat Gilani, many husbands only notice the moments when mothers express anger or exhaustion, while ignoring the continuous mental and physical effort they make throughout the day.<\/p>\n
The actress emphasized that if parenting roles were temporarily reversed, many men might struggle to cope with the pressure within a short time, as taking care of children all day is not an easy task.<\/p>\n
She advised men to appreciate their wives\u2019 hard work, patience and efforts as parents, encourage them and acknowledge their role in front of the children.<\/p>\n
Discussing the role of fathers, Sarwat Gilani said a man\u2019s behaviour as a parent is often connected to his own upbringing and family environment. She explained that fathers who remain emotionally or physically distant from their children may themselves have experienced the absence of a father figure or strained parental relationships during childhood.<\/p>\n
The actress further stated that in some cases mothers unintentionally make their sons emotional support systems, which can later create difficulties for them in maintaining balance in their own role as fathers.<\/p>\n
