A global initiative aimed at strengthening international cooperation in the nuclear technology industry was launched on Tuesday at the ongoing third International Nuclear Technology Application Conference in Beijing.<\/p>\n
The initiative, titled the \u201cInitiative to Jointly Build an Open, Inclusive, Universally Beneficial and Win-Win International Industrial Ecosystem for Nuclear Technology Applications,\u201d has been introduced by the China Isotope and Radiation Association.<\/p>\n
It calls upon international organisations, industry stakeholders, researchers, and companies to collaborate for the peaceful and inclusive use of nuclear technology. The framework seeks to promote a new model of international cooperation based on mutual respect, fairness, justice, and shared development.<\/p>\n
According to the initiative, participating stakeholders will work to explore new pathways for global collaboration, maintain a stable, open, and safe industrial ecosystem, exchange development experiences, and jointly address common challenges. It also aims to support innovative solutions for sustainable development and global economic recovery.<\/p>\n
The conference has drawn more than 400 representatives from over 20 countries, including China, Russia, the United Kingdom, France, the United States, Canada, and Australia.<\/p>\n
The three-day event, which began on Tuesday, features multiple technical and policy sessions covering areas such as radiation processing, isotope production, and nuclear safety. China also used the platform to share its national policies on nuclear technology, showcase key industrial achievements, and introduce a smart nuclear medicine solution.<\/p>\n
