The initiative is part of PCB\u2019s broader vision to promote cricket in regions with a strong South Asian diaspora and growing interest in the sport.<\/p>\n<p>Saudi authorities have been actively encouraging the development of sports infrastructure, creating opportunities for international collaborations. In this context, PCB has expressed formal interest in building a modern cricket venue in Jeddah.<\/p>\n<p>Sources said multiple potential sites are being reviewed, and discussions with local stakeholders are ongoing. If negotiations are successful, a formal agreement will be signed, paving the way for construction to begin.<\/p>\n<p>PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi is known for his fast-paced decision making, and officials believe the project could be completed within a year after the contract is finalised.
