Details of 13 agreements between Pakistan and India have been presented in parliament, with Pakistan alleging non-implementation of four of these accords by New Delhi, according to a report of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.<\/p>\n
The report stated that India has failed to comply with agreements related to the Indus Waters Treaty, facilitation for religious sites, and provisions concerning pilgrims and visitation arrangements.<\/p>\n
The Indus Waters Treaty, aimed at water resource distribution between the two countries, was concluded on September 19, 1960. The Simla Agreement, designed to ensure peaceful resolution of disputes, was signed on July 2, 1972.<\/p>\n
The report further highlighted protocols signed on September 14, 1974, to facilitate visits to religious sites and to ease travel arrangements for pilgrims. On the same date, an agreement was also signed to establish direct telecommunication links between the two countries.<\/p>\n
