Officials have instructed all centrally contracted cricketers to seek prior approval from the PCB\u2019s media department before publishing any content on social media platforms. Failure to comply, sources said, will result in strict disciplinary action.<\/p>\n
The board has also re-circulated its media policy to players\u2019 managers, emphasizing that any form of controversial or inappropriate online activity will not be accepted.<\/p>\n
As part of disciplinary measures, Naseem Shah has been fined Rs20 million for violating the policy and was also required to issue an apology over the post.<\/p>\n
