{"id":72915,"date":"2026-03-19T18:06:13","date_gmt":"2026-03-19T13:06:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chinaurdu.com\/eng\/?p=72915"},"modified":"2026-03-19T18:06:13","modified_gmt":"2026-03-19T13:06:13","slug":"zardari-approves-key-legislative-bills-civil-awards-and-remission","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chinaurdu.com\/eng\/?p=72915","title":{"rendered":"Zardari approves key legislative bills, civil awards and remission"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>President Asif Ali Zardari has approved a set of legislative measures, along with an appointment, conferment of civil awards and a special remission in sentences.<\/p>\n<p>The approved legislative measures include, The Pakistan Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2026; The Newspaper Employees (Condition of Service) Amendment Bill, 2026; The Zakat &#038; Ushr (Amendment) Bill, 2026; The National Archives (Amendment) Bill, 2026; The Pakistan Names &#038; Emblems (Prevention &#038; Unauthorised Use) (Amendment) Bill, 2026; The Associated Press of Pakistan Corporation (Amendment) Bill, 2026; The Naya Pakistan Housing &#038; Development Authority (Amendment) Bill, 2026; The Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Amendment) Bill, 2026; and The Daanish University Islamabad Bill, 2026.<\/p>\n<p>The President has also approved the appointment of Mr Eazaz Aslam Dar as Member, Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC), against the quota of Balochistan.<\/p>\n<p>Further, the President has approved the conferment of Sitara-i-Imtiaz upon Professor Sarwar Muhammad Khawaja, Mr Rashid Malik and Mr Zain ul Abideen Ahsan in recognition of their services.<\/p>\n<p>The President has also approved a special remission in sentences on the occasions of Eid-ul-Fitr and Pakistan Day, 2026.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>President Asif Ali Zardari has approved a set of legislative measures, along with an appointment, conferment of civil awards and a special remission in sentences.
