The aim is to align domestic prices more quickly with fluctuations in the global market.<\/p>\n<p>Officials said a final decision will be taken by the Prime Minister after consultations with the economic team.<\/p>\n<p>If global tensions persist, authorities are expected to move swiftly on the proposed policy to ensure better synchronization between local fuel prices and international trends.<\/p>\n<p>Separately, the government has strengthened monitoring mechanisms to prevent any artificial shortage or hoarding of petroleum products.
