However, she highlighted a pressing issue that continues to go unnoticed: cruelty toward animals.<\/p>\n<p>Referring to a recent incident, Ushna Shah wrote that she saw a video of a dog being tied to a car and dragged along a major road in Punjab. She noted that comments on the video suggested public perception that the Chief Minister condones such acts, whether true or not, as animal abuse incidents remain frequent and largely unaddressed.<\/p>\n<p>The letter also cited other cases of animal cruelty, including organized dog fights, mistreatment of donkeys, and abuse of animals in local markets.
