All traffic violations will be recorded on video, which will be stored securely and verifiable.<\/p>\n<p>Officials stated that the system will verify national ID cards, driving licenses, and check for stolen vehicles on the spot. Vehicle ownership, fitness certificates, and route permits will also be instantly verified.<\/p>\n<p>The traffic police spokesperson added that the digital system will also handle violations related to encroachments and environmental offenses. Under the integrated system, e-challans will be linked to FIR status and criminal records.
