He noted that following the agreement, economic cooperation between the two countries is also witnessing rapid growth.<\/p>\n<p>Ambassador Asim Iftikhar said terrorism continues to threaten Pakistan\u2019s peace and economic stability, with banned outfits Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) attempting to spread unrest in the region. He stated that these groups are orchestrating attacks from across the border using safe havens.<\/p>\n<p>He reaffirmed that Pakistan will continue decisive and comprehensive action against terrorism to safeguard national security and economic progress.<\/p>\n<p>On regional and global issues, the envoy stressed that a permanent ceasefire in Gaza and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state are essential for lasting peace.
