{"id":71059,"date":"2026-01-16T17:01:43","date_gmt":"2026-01-16T12:01:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chinaurdu.com\/eng\/?p=71059"},"modified":"2026-01-16T17:01:43","modified_gmt":"2026-01-16T12:01:43","slug":"pia-signs-cargo-deal-with-garuda-indonesia-to-boost-exports","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chinaurdu.com\/eng\/?p=71059","title":{"rendered":"PIA signs cargo deal with Garuda Indonesia to boost exports"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has taken a major step to facilitate Pakistani exporters by signing an important agreement with Indonesia\u2019s national airline, Garuda Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>According to PIA, a Cargo Special Pro-Rate Agreement has been signed between the two airlines, aimed at providing Pakistani exporters with smoother and uninterrupted access to international markets.<\/p>\n<p>The agreement will come into effect from January 2026 and will remain valid until July 2027. Under the arrangement, Pakistani cargo will be transported to Jakarta and other international destinations via Jeddah and Kuala Lumpur.<\/p>\n<p>The agreement will also provide cargo connectivity to major global hubs including Sydney, Melbourne, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Bangkok. As a result, access to markets in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Seoul, and Australia will become easier for Pakistani products.<\/p>\n<p>PIA said that competitive freight rates and priority cargo handling facilities have been ensured for exporters and freight forwarders under the agreement.<\/p>\n<p>A PIA spokesperson stated that the objective of the agreement is to increase Pakistan\u2019s exports and expand and streamline the country\u2019s air cargo business.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has taken a major step to facilitate Pakistani exporters by signing an important agreement with Indonesia\u2019s national airline, Garuda Indonesia.
