{"id":70730,"date":"2026-01-08T17:53:21","date_gmt":"2026-01-08T12:53:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chinaurdu.com\/eng\/?p=70730"},"modified":"2026-01-11T11:30:41","modified_gmt":"2026-01-11T06:30:41","slug":"qaid-e-azam-business-park-gets-dedicated-220kv-grid-station","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chinaurdu.com\/eng\/?p=70730","title":{"rendered":"Qaid-e-Azam Business Park gets dedicated 220kV Grid Station"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC)\u2019s decisive and effective leadership is enabling major energy projects that are reshaping Pakistan\u2019s industrial landscape, officials said.<\/p>\n<p>The National Grid Company of Pakistan (NGC) has successfully commissioned the 220-kilovolt Qaid-e-Azam Business Park Grid Station in Sheikhupura, marking a major milestone for industrial power supply in the region.<\/p>\n<p>Sources said the newly operational grid station is strategically important for meeting the growing electricity demands of large industrial consumers located in the Sheikhupura Special Economic Zone (SEZ).<\/p>\n<p>Completed at a cost exceeding Rs4 billion, the project is expected to provide uninterrupted electricity to industrial units, thereby supporting economic activity and improving industrial productivity.<\/p>\n<p>Officials said this is Pakistan\u2019s first grid station commissioned exclusively to serve a Special Economic Zone.
