Under the first phase, Mardan, Nowshera, and Charsadda will be connected to Peshawar through a train service to improve regional connectivity.<\/p>\n<p>Pakistan Railways will provide technical support for the feasibility study of the project. The circular rail scheme was approved in 2022, but implementation was delayed due to financial and administrative challenges.<\/p>\n<p>Officials said the project would help reduce travel distances between cities and ease growing traffic congestion in and around Peshawar.
