She emphasized that the presence of offices of global social media companies in Pakistan is not necessary for regulatory compliance, countering perceptions that enforcement is ineffective without them.<\/p>\n<p>The committee chairman noted that NCCIA\u2019s performance raised concerns and directed the agency to enforce laws accurately and strengthen compliance with digital media regulations.
