The Capital Development Authority (CDA), meanwhile, informed the court that it has decided to provide developed plots to landowners within the same sectors under its land-sharing policy.<\/p>\n<p>Justice Azam Khan heard the petition filed by a citizen, Malik Gulzarain, who had asked the court to halt compensation until payment rates were revised. The CDA submitted a detailed response through Advocate Aamir Latif Gill, on behalf of the authority\u2019s Director General (Law), Naeem Akbar Dar.<\/p>\n<p>In its reply, the CDA told the court that it is preparing to conduct draw proceedings for developed plots in sectors D-13, E-13 and F-13. The authority said these plots will be allotted to original landowners under the land-sharing mechanism.<\/p>\n<p>According to the CDA, compensation will also be provided for houses after survey verification. Hundreds of landowners have already applied under the land-sharing policy, and initial verification has been completed for many cases, allowing payments to begin.<\/p>\n<p>The CDA noted that it has already compensated a significant number of landowners under the same policy across multiple sectors.<\/p>\n<p>The IHC adjourned further proceedings in the compensation case until December 12.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Wednesday rejected a request seeking the immediate suspension of compensation payments to landowners in newly developed sectors of the capital.
