Secretary Petroleum Momin Agha and Managing Director OGDCL Ahmed Hayat Lak were also present during the meeting.<\/p>\n<p>During the discussion, Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik said, \u201cWe are looking forward to welcoming the Turkish Minister and his team to Pakistan. Their visit will play a transformational role in advancing our bilateral cooperation in energy and mining sector.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The meeting reviewed the expanding collaboration between Pakistan and Turkiye in the energy, petroleum, and mineral sectors. It was noted with satisfaction that Turkish Petroleum has joined offshore and onshore exploration activities in Pakistan, marking a major milestone in bilateral energy cooperation. The Ambassador further shared that leading Turkish mineral sector company will be part of the delegation visiting tomorrow, reflecting Turkiye\u2019s strong interest in investing and partnering in Pakistan\u2019s mineral development sector.<\/p>\n<p>Minister Malik highlighted that Pakistan\u2019s leading exploration companies, OGDCL and PPL, Mari Energies have joined Turkish Petroleum (TPAO) which is creating new opportunities for joint ventures and strengthen cooperation on the global stage.<\/p>\n<p>Ambassador Irfan Neziroglu reaffirmed Turkiye\u2019s commitment to its partnership with Pakistan, noting that there are \u201cmany promising areas of cooperation between the two brotherly countries,\u201d and expressed confidence that visit by Minister Alparslan Bayraktar will \u201cfurther cement and deepen Pak Turkiye relations.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Both sides expressed their resolve to ensure the successful conduct of the visit and to translate mutual goodwill into meaningful economic and strategic outcomes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Federal Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik held a meeting today with the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkiye to Pakistan, Irfan Neziroglu, to finalize preparations for the high-level Turkish delegation arriving tomorrow, led by the Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Alparslan Bayraktar.
