Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor has fractured a toe during the shooting of her upcoming film, forcing the production team to temporarily halt filming.<\/p>\n
According to Indian media reports, the injury occurred while she was performing an extended dance sequence. Shraddha, dressed in a traditional Nauvari sari with cultural jewellery for the scene, accidentally shifted her full weight onto one foot, lost balance and injured her toe.<\/p>\n
Director Laxman Utekar immediately paused the shoot. Despite the pain, Shraddha insisted that the unit continue working and even returned to Mumbai to film close-ups and emotional scenes on the Madh Island set.<\/p>\n
However, within a few hours the pain intensified, eventually compelling the crew to stop filming completely.<\/p>\n
The film, titled Aitha, is based on the life of acclaimed Maharashtrian dancer and folk artist Vithabai, celebrated as one of the most influential performers in the state\u2019s cultural history.<\/p>\n
