The escape reportedly involved Singhera\u2019s brother, who, along with six unidentified accomplices, helped him evade custody.<\/p>\n<p>Following the incident, the Rawalpindi police registered a case against four officers, including Assistant Sub-Inspector Zafar Iqbal, Constables Yasir, Ahmed Bilal, and Moharram Shehzad. The officers face charges under Section 155-C of the Police Order and Sections 223, 224, and 225 of the Pakistan Penal Code for failing to maintain custody of the accused.<\/p>\n<p>Police confirmed that Singhera had previously been brought to court in Rawalpindi for an unrelated case three years ago.
