The committee has been given 30 days to complete its report.<\/p>\n<p>The panel will examine flood-related losses to agriculture, livestock, and infrastructure, and will also estimate damages suffered by affected communities. In addition, it will investigate the factors that led to the loss of human lives during the floods.<\/p>\n<p>The committee will develop recommendations for the rehabilitation of flood victims and review the performance of government departments and administrative bodies involved in flood response operations. It will also propose measures to prevent future flooding.<\/p>\n<p>The terms of reference further state that the committee will analyze coordination between the Punjab government and the federal government during the disaster.
