From its establishment in 1999 until February 2023 \u2014 spanning 23 years \u2014 NAB had recovered only Rs 883 billion. The latest figures reflect a nearly tenfold increase in recovery efficiency.<\/p>\n<p>Officials say the current year is expected to add another Rs 2,000 billion to the total, further boosting NAB\u2019s performance indicators.<\/p>\n<p>Sources attribute the bureau\u2019s biggest success to operations carried out through the Land Directorate, where massive amounts of illegally occupied or fraudulently allotted government land were reclaimed.
