{"id":68566,"date":"2025-11-09T18:08:24","date_gmt":"2025-11-09T13:08:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chinaurdu.com\/eng\/?p=68566"},"modified":"2025-12-12T23:14:25","modified_gmt":"2025-12-12T18:14:25","slug":"13-more-ncci-officials-booked-in-call-center-extortion-case","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chinaurdu.com\/eng\/?p=68566","title":{"rendered":"13 more NCCI officials booked in call center extortion case"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has registered a case against 13 additional officers of the National Counter Crime Intelligence Agency (NCCIA) over allegations of extorting millions of rupees from call centers.<\/p>\n<p>According to the officials, the case was filed at the Anti-Corruption Circle of FIA Islamabad, naming several NCCIA Additional Directors, including officers posted in Rawalpindi, along with intermediaries and a foreign national involved in the scheme.<\/p>\n<p>According to the FIR, 15 illegal call centers operating in Sector 11-F, Islamabad, were allegedly forced to pay millions of rupees in extortion. The accused officers are reported to have continued collecting large sums on a monthly basis from these centers.<\/p>\n<p>The FIR also highlights that one of the accused acted as a front man for the officers, receiving payments from a woman who paid millions to secure the release of 13 foreign nationals and her husband.
