{"id":68244,"date":"2025-10-29T14:54:32","date_gmt":"2025-10-29T09:54:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/internews.pk\/eng\/?p=68244"},"modified":"2025-10-29T14:54:32","modified_gmt":"2025-10-29T09:54:32","slug":"pakistan-canada-eye-stronger-cooperation-in-law-human-rights-and-investment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chinaurdu.com\/eng\/?p=68244","title":{"rendered":"Pakistan, Canada eye stronger cooperation in law, human rights and investment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The High Commissioner of Canada to Pakistan, Tariq Ali Khan, called on the Federal Minister for Law and Justice, Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar, in Islamabad today.<\/p>\n<p>The Federal Minister warmly welcomed the newly appointed High Commissioner and expressed Pakistan\u2019s desire to further strengthen the longstanding bilateral relations between the two countries.<\/p>\n<p>During the meeting, matters of mutual interest were discussed in detail, particularly focusing on legal reforms, rule of law, human rights, and investment opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>The Canadian High Commissioner informed the Minister that several Canadian companies are interested in investing in Pakistan. Both sides also discussed prospects for future collaboration and partnership.<\/p>\n<p>Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar reaffirmed that the Government of Pakistan is committed to extending all possible facilitation to foreign investors.
