{"id":67595,"date":"2025-10-18T18:32:49","date_gmt":"2025-10-18T13:32:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/internews.pk\/eng\/?p=67595"},"modified":"2025-10-18T18:32:49","modified_gmt":"2025-10-18T13:32:49","slug":"governor-faisal-karim-kundi-welcomes-china-railway-20-bureau-groups-investment-plans","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chinaurdu.com\/eng\/?p=67595","title":{"rendered":"Governor Faisal Karim Kundi welcomes China Railway 20 Bureau Group\u2019s investment plans"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi held a meeting with Xin Han, Regional Director for Asia and Oceania of China Railway 20 Bureau Group Corporation (CR20G), at the Governor House in Islamabad to discuss cooperation in Pakistan\u2019s infrastructure development sector.<\/p>\n<p>During the meeting, both sides reviewed partnership prospects in key national infrastructure projects, including the Sukkur\u2013Hyderabad Motorway (M-6) and the Rohri\u2013Karachi section upgrade of Pakistan Railways.<\/p>\n<p>Shoaib Ahmad, Chief Representative of CR20G in Pakistan, briefed the governor that the company had earlier completed the Lahore\u2013Multan Motorway (M-3) project between 2016 and 2018, which was widely appreciated for its timely completion and high construction standards.<\/p>\n<p>Governor Faisal Karim Kundi welcomed the delegation and lauded China\u2019s continued support for Pakistan\u2019s development, emphasizing the strategic importance of the China\u2013Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). He also discussed progress on the Chashma Lift and Gravity Canal project, highlighting its potential impact on regional development.<\/p>\n<p>The governor remarked that CPEC is a historic initiative that will not only strengthen Pakistan\u2019s economy but also usher in a new era of prosperity for the people across the country, including those in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.<\/p>\n<p>He stressed that raising public awareness about the benefits of CPEC is essential, adding that the Government of Pakistan has made significant progress in creating a business-friendly environment and improving the ease of doing business, particularly for investors from China, Pakistan\u2019s long-standing strategic partner.<\/p>\n<p>Kundi acknowledged China\u2019s key role in Pakistan\u2019s economic and infrastructure development, expressing confidence that under CPEC Phase-II, the Pakistani people would directly benefit from new projects and increased regional connectivity.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi held a meeting with Xin Han, Regional Director for Asia and Oceania of China Railway 20 Bureau Group Corporation (CR20G), at the Governor House in Islamabad to discuss cooperation in Pakistan\u2019s infrastructure development sector.
