\u201cWe were taught as children that if possible, eat on a dastarkhwan. It\u2019s the Sunnah of our Prophet (peace be upon him),\u201d SRK says in the clip.<\/p>\n
He further explains, \u201cA dastarkhwan is where you sit on the floor to eat. When you fold your legs inward while sitting, one-third of your stomach is naturally compressed. You never eat until you\u2019re completely full \u2014 yet you feel satisfied.\u201d<\/p>\n
The actor adds, \u201cMost of us tend to overeat, which isn\u2019t healthy. Leaving a little hunger after eating is actually good for the body.\u201d<\/p>\n
Smiling, he concludes, \u201cI may not know the science behind it, but I believe this is the best way to eat.\u201d
