Tony de Zorzi remained unbeaten on 81, while Senuran Muthusamy was not out on six at stumps. Pakistan\u2019s Nauman Ali starred with the ball, claiming four wickets to keep the visitors in check.<\/p>\n
Earlier, Pakistan were bowled out for 378 runs in their first innings. The hosts began the day on 313 for five, with Mohammad Rizwan on 62 and Salman Ali Agha on 52. Rizwan went on to score 75 runs before being caught, while Salman fell just short of a century, dismissed for 93.<\/p>\n
South Africa\u2019s left-arm spinner Senuran Muthusamy delivered a devastating spell, taking four wickets on the second day and finishing with six wickets in the innings. His fiery 102nd over saw him claim three wickets \u2014 Rizwan caught for 75, Nauman Ali bowled for a duck, and Sajid Khan caught without scoring.<\/p>\n
Shaheen Afridi added seven runs before being dismissed by Muthusamy, while Salman Ali Agha was caught by Muthusamy off the bowling of Pranilan Subrayen.<\/p>\n
In South Africa\u2019s reply, the first breakthrough came at 45 when Aiden Markram was caught off Nauman Ali for 20. Wiaan Mulder followed at 80, also falling to Nauman for 17. Ryan Rickelton scored 71 before being dismissed by Agha Salman at 174, while Tristan Stubbs (8) and Dewald Brevis (0) fell cheaply. Kyle Verreynne was trapped lbw by Nauman for two as Pakistan tightened their grip.<\/p>\n
For South Africa, Muthusamy took six wickets, Subrayen claimed two, while Kagiso Rabada and Simon Harmer picked up one each.<\/p>\n
