Chairman of the Prime Minister\u2019s Youth Programme (PMYP), Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, announced the launch of Pakistan\u2019s AI Enterprise Product Program, a major collaboration with Stanford University, Y, and Obsidian, aimed at equipping Pakistani youth with advanced artificial intelligence and digital skills.<\/p>\n
During the event, Rana Mashhood highlighted the introduction of a digital wallet system that will allow legal and secure remittances. He explained that this system could enable over one billion dollars to be transferred legally to Pakistan, describing it as a \u201cremarkable achievement\u201d that would benefit both overseas workers and the national economy.<\/p>\n
He acknowledged Mr. ED Latif\u2019s critical role in supporting the digital wallet initiative and recognized the strategic partnerships that made it possible.<\/p>\n
The chairman also praised the merit-based selection process that identified high-potential students who will now be certified by Stanford University. With the Stanford team attending the event live via Zoom, Rana Mashhood noted that their commitment to partnering with Pakistan reflects growing international confidence in the country\u2019s youth and potential. He said this initiative marks a great start for Pakistan and demonstrates its ability to participate meaningfully in the global AI economy.<\/p>\n
In his closing remarks, Rana Mashhood reaffirmed the government\u2019s long-term commitment to empowering youth through advanced skills training.
