Pakistan’s celebrated actress Mahira Khan has praised Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, calling him a humble and deeply dedicated artist. In an interview with anchor Mansoor Ali Khan during the promotion of her upcoming film “Neelofar,” Mahira said that the greatest artists always display humility, professionalism, and a genuine love for their craft qualities she witnessed closely while working with Shah Rukh Khan in Bollywood.
She added that whether it is Shah Rukh Khan, Humayun Saeed, Fawad Khan, or Fahad Mustafa, all these stars share the same traits of modesty and professionalism, which elevate them to superstar status.
Speaking about her favorite actors, Mahira said her top female choices include Shehnaz Sheikh, Sanam Baloch, and Sajal Aly. Among male actors, she admires Fahad Mustafa, Humayun Saeed, and Fawad Khan.
Mahira also shared that being born and raised in Karachi helped her develop strong command over Urdu, while she uses English depending on her work requirements. Working in India also gave her exposure to regional languages such as Gujarati, which she found valuable.
Addressing why she has been absent from TV dramas, Mahira said her priority has been her son Azlan’s education. She explained that helping him prepare for exams takes most of her time, often making her feel as though she is sitting for the exams herself.
