کراچی میں جاری 35 ویں نیشنل گیمز میں جیولن تھرو کے اولمپک ریکارڈ ہولڈر گولڈ میڈلسٹ ارشد ندیم نے ایک بار پھر گولڈ میڈل جیت لیا ہے، انہوں نے پاکستان واپڈا کی نمائندگی کررتے ہوئے81.81 میٹر دور نیزہ پھینک کر شرکا پر واضح سبقت حاصل کی، ان کے قریبی حریف اور اسلامی یکجہتی گیمز میں سلور میڈل حاصل کرنیوالے پاکستان واپڈا کے ہی یاسر سلطان نے70.77 میٹر کی تھرو کیساتھ دوسری پوزیشن حاصل کی اور سلور میڈل جیت لیا، پاکستان آرمی کے محمد ابرار نے 68۔67 میٹر دور نیزہ پھینک کر تیسری پوزیشن کیساتھ برانز میڈل جیت لیا۔
اولمپین ارشد ندیم نے گولڈ میڈل جیت کر اپنے اعزاز کا کامیاب دفاع کیا انہوں نے گزشتہ سال کوئٹہ میں ہونیوالے 34 ویں نیشنل گیمز میں78.01 میٹرز دور نیزہ پھینک کر پہلی پوزیشن حاصل کی تھی، ارشد ندیم پہلے ہی اگلے لاس اینجلس اولمپکس 2028 کیلئے کوالیفائی کر چکے ہیں۔
